🎆 Now Open for the 2026 Season — 1607 E. Lincolnway, Valparaiso · Open Daily 9am–9pm

Three siblings. One store. A mom, a dad, and a whole lot of fireworks. Over 25 years of making Northwest Indiana's Fourth of July louder, brighter, and more memorable.

Amanda · Alex · John · Gail · Natalie
Fireworks on Lincolnway isn't a pop-up tent. It's not a big-box chain. It's a family business — started by one sibling, grown by three, and supported by mom and dad every step of the way.
John and Gail raised three kids who all ended up in the fireworks business together. Natalie founded it. Amanda runs it. Alex lives it. And the whole family shows up every summer to make sure Northwest Indiana has the best Fourth of July possible.
The family runs deep — but so does the community. Chase started as a loyal customer, became a long-time friend, and eventually worked the store for several years. That's the kind of place Fireworks on Lincolnway is.
Come in. Ask us anything. We'll help you build the perfect show — whether it's your first time or your fiftieth.
She started it all.
Natalie is the oldest sibling and the one who turned a passion for fireworks into a full-blown institution. Over 25 years ago, she saw an opportunity on Lincolnway and took it — building Fireworks on Lincolnway from the ground up into the largest fireworks store in Northwest Indiana. She knows every product on the shelf by name, and she's the reason the family is in this business at all.
She keeps it running.
Amanda lives for the summer season. From Memorial Day to the Fourth of July, she's in the store every single day — helping customers build their perfect show, managing inventory, and making sure every person who walks through the door leaves with exactly what they need. She's the one who remembers your name and what you bought last year.
He's the pyromaniac.
Alex is the youngest — and the most enthusiastic. He's the one who tests every new product before it hits the shelves, scouts the best new items from Jake's and Fireworks Over America, and shows up to every demo with a lighter in hand. He's also the proud dad of Nova, alongside his fiancée Alyson, who is very much part of the crew. If you want to know which cake is going to blow your neighbors' minds this Fourth of July, ask Alex.

Community Spotlight
Pete's Barbershop on Lincolnway has been one of our biggest supporters since day one. Pete and his team — including Alex, one of the main barbers — show up every season in full patriotic gear, spread the word around Valparaiso, and embody exactly the kind of community spirit that makes the Fourth of July special. We're proud to call them neighbors and friends.
